Blue Pixel's blog has an interesting recent entry from the company's own Reed Hoffmann describing how he met several tough workflow challenges at a sports assignment. 

For the U.S. NCAA Division 2 Tennis Championships, Hoffmann had to shoot 18 matches in a single day, process and correctly caption his images (without the aid of a printed roster and with players who don't wear numbered jerseys), and deliver 15 finished pictures by FTP before the day was done.
