The Nikon Imaging Global web site has posted a Flash teaser on its front page for what it says will be a new 10.2-megapixel digital SLR "addition to the lineup" that will be announced in 20 days (Wednesday, August 9, 2006).

Based on one phrase in the teaser -- "integrating quality and affordability to meet the demands of passionate photo enthusiasts" -- it seems like a reasonable guess that the camera will fall somewhere below the D200 in Nikon's lineup.
