Bibble Labs has released Bibble 4.9 in both Pro and Lite editions for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

This update to the company's RAW workflow software introduces a Clone/Spot Healing tool and adds support for RAW files from the Sony DSLR-A100, the Nikon D80, the Canon 400D (Rebel XTi), the Leica DMR, and several other cameras and medium format digital backs.

Bibble 4.9 is a free upgrade for existing owners of Bibble 4.XX. New licenses cost US$129 for the Pro edition and US$69 for the Lite edition.

Bibble Labs has also officially announced the development of Bibble 5, which will be the company's next major release. No availability date is given, but purchasers of Bibble 4.9 will be able to upgrade to v5 for free.
