Regular readers will know we don't normally publish rumours about unannounced products, but the latest information leak about an upcoming digital SLR, this time from Nikon, and the ensuing broad coverage of it on both mainstream photography sites and in discussion forums, is impossible to ignore. An entry-level camera called the D40 looks like it's on the near horizon, and all you need is your web browser and Google to dig up what may well be legitimate descriptions and pictures of it.
