National Geographic's Week in Photos leads off with a startling image of a Taiwanese veterinarian's forearm in a Nile crocodile's mouth. The msnbc's video footage, located within The Week in Pictures April 5-12, shows the crocodile being shot twice, causing it to release the arm. The arm was recovered and reattached during seven hours of surgery. Both the vet and the croc are doing fine.
