Canon releases firmware v1.0.6 for EOS-1Ds Mark III

The firmware download page notes the following changes:
 
  1. Improves the reliability of communication with some CF cards.
  2. Fixes a phenomenon that occurs in some cases involving color cast and vertical lines appearing in images.
 
A camera serial number is required to download the new firmware.
