New York-based photographer and Canon Explorer of Light Vincent Laforet has posted a new video recorded with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. The almost two minute presentation gathers clips from Laforet's seven outings with a preproduction camera in recent weeks, including when he used Canon's latest digital SLR to put together
Reverie. The clips show well the shallow focus capabilities of a video camera with a 35mm-size sensor, as well as Laforet's inventiveness in using the 5D Mark II in this way. It's well worth a look.
The video is presented below at 610 pixels wide; it's also hosted on SmugMug at 960 pixels wide. Laforet has provided a brief commentary about the video on his blog.
