| Nikon D3X available for purchase today |

Today is the official first day of sales of the Nikon D3X worldwide, and we've now heard from several dozen shooters in the U.S., Canada, parts of Europe, Japan and elsewhere in Asia that the camera has landed at retailers where they are.
The 24.39 million image pixel digital SLR has an expected street price of US$7999.95 in the U.S. and was announced on November 30, 2008.
