A teaser for what appears to be a new form factor wireless device has been posted on the PocketWizard website. The teaser, from the maker of the Plus II and MultiMAX wireless transceivers for triggering cameras and strobes, shows a small unit in the hot shoe of a 1-series Canon SLR, alongside the words "The new shape of wireless: 2/16/09".

Earlier this week, the distributor of the PocketWizard line announced a press conference to unveil new PocketWizard and Profoto products. It's slated for the same February 16, 2009 date as noted in the teaser.
