Chimera has announced the Octaplus, a presumably octagonal softbox ("lightbank", in Chimera terminology) that's available in 3-ft. and 5-ft. versions. For location shooters seeking flexibility with the lowest weight, the 5-ft. version is convertible to a 7-ft. lightbank via an expansion module. No pricing information is available yet.
