PhotoShelter to stage Luminance 2012 photography conference this September in New York

PhotoShelter, the photography marketing, sales and portfolio service, will stage a new photography conference later this year in New York. Luminance 2012 will "explore the intersection of business, technology, culture, and photography," says a press release, and will feature short talks by a long list of industry people from 20x200, Adobe, The Atlantic, Blurb, Getty, Google, Lytro, TinEye, Tumblr and more. The event will also include presentations and/or workshops by photographers Zack Arias, Barbara Davidson, Joe McNally, Corey Rich, Robert Seale and Peter Yang.
