Digital Photography Review posts info on Powershot G1

Digital Photography Review has an excellent overview of Canon's latest amateur digital camera, the Powershot G1. The camera includes the best pro-friendly features of Nikon's Coolpix 990, including the ability to use an external TTL flash and a twist-and-swivel screen for odd angle shooting. And it adds two that the 990 doesn't have: a RAW shooting mode and sound recording in its movie mode. If the image quality is good, then Nikon's Coolpix line will finally have a Canon competitor for pro shooters like myself to choose from who wish to tote around a digital point-and-shoot as well.
