Adobe announces Photoshop Touch app for tablets, Creative Cloud and more

Adobe has unveiled a slew of new products and services this morning, including Photoshop Touch, a new imaging editing app for tablets that incorporates a range of selection, layer and adjustment features, file format compatibility with Photoshop on a computer and integration with the company's new Creative Cloud service, also announced today. Photoshop Touch will ship first for Android devices next month, with an announcement regarding iOS availability coming in early 2012.

Photoshop Touch is one of six tablet apps that Adobe is introducing or expanding. The full slate: 
All will sell for US$9.99 each, and are expected to ship in November for Android (Ideas is already available for iOS).

Other Adobe announcements include the introduction of Creative Cloud, an online storage and sharing service for creative pros, and the US$395 Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition, a tool that enables projects made with InDesign CS5.5 to be published to the Apple iPad.

Creative Cloud will be available in beta form at about the same time as the six tablet apps are released in November. It's to be a subscription-based service.
