Nikon announces D40X

Nikon has injected its entry-level D40 digital SLR with a 10.04 million image pixel sensor, faster 3fps shooting rate and lower base ISO of 100 to come up with the D40X. The new model is to ship in April 2007 at an estimated street price of US$729.95 in the U.S. for the body.
