Apple unveils iOS 5 and iCloud, sets Mac OS X Lion ship date

At the 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference this morning, Apple revealed the details of iOS 5 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, set a shipping timeframe for Mac OS X Lion and unveiled its new online server-based storage and syncing service, iCloud.

Mac OS X Lion is coming in July for US$29.99 and will ship as a download from the online Mac App Store, while iOS 5 is coming this fall at about the same time as iCloud is rolled out to the public.
