onOne Software has cut the prices of its DSLR Camera Remote apps in half. Now, DSLR Camera Remote Professional Edition 1.4.3 for the iPhone and iPod touch is US$9.99, down from US$19.99, while DSLR Camera Remote HD 1.4.3 for the iPad is US$24.99, rather than US$49.99.

onOne most recently updated these apps in May, to add support for the Nikon D4, D800 and D800E. DSLR Camera Remote Professional Edition and DSLR Camera Remote HD provide remote control and triggering of Canon and Nikon digital SLR cameras. A free version, aptly named DSLR Camera Remote Free, enables triggering only. All DSLR Camera Remote variants require the camera to be connected to a Mac or Windows computer running DSLR Camera Remote Server software.
