Photographers selling prints & products from PhotoShelter websites can now select & send orders to favorite print vendors anywhere in the world – providing more local print service, custom orders, and unique quality arrangements

New York, NY, December 15, 2010 – PhotoShelter (, the leader in websites and online tools for serious photographers, today launched the PhotoShelter Print Vendor Network, an open network of print vendors from around the globe. The PhotoShelter Print Vendor Network enables serious photographers to sell prints and products via their PhotoShelter websites while assigning fulfillment to a print vendor of their choice, virtually anywhere in the world.

PhotoShelter’s 65,000 photographers may invite their relied-upon print vendors to participate in the network, or print vendors may join direct at The program creates more options for photographers to choose a specific print vendor according to their individual quality specifications or custom needs – and helps photographers honor longstanding personal vendor relationships while handling sales online. The network also gives photographers more control in the sale of their photography – from product selection, to pricing, to fulfillment via their favorite, trusted print partners.

The initial Print Vendor Network launch includes 27 print vendors from around the globe that were highly requested by PhotoShelter member photographers – from multiple cities in the United States and Canada, reaching as far as Israel, Australia, and New Zealand. All photographers will be able to search the Print Vendor Network Directory to find new print partners, many of which come highly endorsed by fellow PhotoShelter members. This simple PhotoShelter feature requires no technical integration and provides a one-click interface for sending orders to selected network print vendors. There is no cost for print vendors to participate, and the additional feature is available to all PhotoShelter photographers at no additional cost.

“Because photographers’ needs and requirements vary widely based on specialty, client project, and geographic location, one-size-fits-all online solutions to sell photography and fulfill print orders will always fall short.” said PhotoShelter CEO Allen Murabayashi.  “The PhotoShelter Print Vendor Network gives photographers the control and flexibility they want to precisely select the ideal print vendor for any given job, combined with PhotoShelter’s powerful portfolio websites, photography sales and marketing tools that help generate more business. With one easy interface, this is a win for our photographers and both large and small print vendors worldwide.”
