Sandisk has revised a FAQ page to better describe why the company,as well as other storage media vendors, define a MB as 1000KB x 1000KB. Ben Curtis noted a recent article in The Register poking fun at the company for not using the standard by which most operating systems, and programs like Photoshop, use, where a MB is equal to 1024KB x 1024KB.
