Apple publishes expanded Aperture user guide
Thursday, April 13, 2006 | by Rob Galbraith

Along with the release of Aperture 1.1 for Mac, Apple has published an expanded version of the user guide for the software as well as several other documents designed to get photographers up to speed with the new version.

Unlike the 223-page Getting Started manual that shipped with Aperture 1.0, the 427-page Aperture User Manual is meant to provide complete descriptions of the program's features and capabilities, says Kirk Paulsen, Senior Director of Pro Applications Marketing at Apple.

The revised user guide, as well as PDFs entitled Performing Image Adjustments (106 pages), Late-Breaking News (10 pages) and New Features (23 pages), are accessible from the Help menu from within v1.1 of the program, or on the Apple Manuals web page.
