Canon EOS-1D X ship date slips to middle of June

The ship date for the EOS-1D X has slipped to the middle of June, Canon USA announced this morning. The camera had been pegged for delivery later this month. The new mid-June ship date applies to the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E6A and GPS Receiver GP-E1 accessories as well.

Updated Availability for the EOS-1D X DSLR Camera and Accessories

We would like to inform you of an update to the expected availability of the EOS-1D X DSLR Camera and the camera's optional accessories, the WFT-E6A Wireless File Transmitter and GP-E1 GPS Receiver. The camera and accessories are now anticipated to be available in mid-June 2012.
