Versions of Photo Mechanic for both Mac and Windows have been updated this week.
Photo Mechanic 3.2.7 for Mac now properly recognizes the rotation information in Nikon D2H photos (including NEF files), fixes a problem in OS X 10.3 that would cause Photoshop to sometimes appear to hang upon receiving an Edit Image command from Photo Mechanic, removes an erroneous "Network" source entry in the Ingest Disks window (also under OS X 10.3) and corrects an error in which the program would incorrectly report not enough space on the destination volume.
Photo Mechanic 188.8.131.52 for Windows fixes a startup crashing problem when attempting to restore the folder navigator to a path on certain types of removable media. Automatic correction in the spellchecker has also been disabled in the new version.
Both the Mac and Windows updates will be free for most register users of v3.x for Mac and v4.x for Windows. See the Camera Bits web site for upgrade details.
