Canon EOS-1D X release now set for late-April (updated)
Monday, February 27, 2012 | by Rob Galbraith
Canon in the USA, UK and Japan (translation) have announced that the EOS-1D X will now ship towards the end of April. Unveiled in October of last year, Canon's 17.92 million image pixel, 12fps flagship digital SLR had originally been scheduled for release next month.

The late-April shipping timeframe almost certainly applies to all other regions and countries too.

The expected U.S. street price has tentatively been set at US$6800. In Canada, the price is to be CDN$6999.99.
