This is a first around here: the article you're reading is to announce a workshop I'm not doing.
The web site of the 8th World Wilderness Congress, to be held in Anchorage, Alaska from September 30 - October 6, 2005, indicates that I'm leading a full-day digital photography seminar during the congress. I wasn't asked to speak at this event and have requested that the organizers strike my name from the program.
If you've made plans to travel to Anchorage to attend my non-workshop (and, fortunately, we've only heard from two that have so far), you may wish to contact event staff to learn what, if anything, is planned in the way of digital photography education.
Update, August 19, 2005: An organizer from the event has been in touch to apologize for the error and indicates that it's actually Blue Pixel's Kevin Gilbert that will be conducting a full-day workshop; Gilbert has confirmed this also. As of this writing, however, the two references to me that we spotted on the event web site have yet to be corrected. So, where you see Rob Galbraith on their site, think Kevin Gilbert.
