New Kodak sensor technology promises better high-ISO photos
Thursday, June 14, 2007 | by Rob Galbraith
Kodak has announced a new digital camera sensor design meant to dramatically reduce high-ISO noise levels. The company claims the new colour filtering technology it has developed "provides a 2x to 4x increase in sensitivity to light (from one to two photographic stops) compared to current sensor designs."
A press release has more information, as does a post on a Kodak blog.
